Two apps can't normally grab one camera simultaneously. Solutions include: enabling Windows 11's multi-app camera access, using your phone as a second virtual webcam, or installing SplitCam version 10.7.44_x64.msi to route separate camera feeds.

Lower the capture resolution to 640x360 or smaller in the app settings. High resolutions like 1920x1080 often cause lag. 640x360 is ideal, or 1280x720 if you're doing full-body tracking.

Reduce CPU load by setting Capture Speed to High/Low in Preferences and lowering resolution to 640x360. Reduce GPU load by opening App Settings in the Receiver window and selecting Low Graphics Quality. iOS mobile offloading also drastically cuts system strain.

Your VRM file likely misses required rig bones. Verify it matches official VRM specs and includes the Distal, Proximal, and Intermediate bones for every finger intended for tracking.

Add the installation folder to your antivirus exclusions list, confirm the app has camera permissions enabled, and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (usually X64) matching your processor.

Go to Preferences in the app menu, uncheck "Use DirectShow," apply it, then re-check the box. If the camera still won't appear, reach out to our support team.
