Whether you're brushing up on Spanish before a trip, prepping for the IELTS exam, or learning Japanese from scratch, Preply matches you with a tutor who fits your goals, schedule, and learning style. With over 100,000 vetted tutors teaching more than 120 subjects in 180+ nationalities, it’s designed to make language learning flexible, effective, and human-centered.

Unlike apps that rely only on AI or pre-recorded lessons, Preply emphasizes live interaction with real people—because 96% of learners say practicing with a native speaker is crucial to their progress. You can book single lessons without subscriptions, switch tutors risk-free if needed, and even use built-in AI tools to practice between sessions. It works seamlessly on both web and mobile, so you can learn anytime, anywhere.
